Robot-fighters,

Who wants to shoot some Zombies?

With Halloween just around the corner, Zombiestein is an event inspired by the zombie phenomenon that will start on Monday, 24th of November (12:00 UTC) and will run till Sunday, 30th of November.

One of your teammates becomes infected with a zombie virus and turn into a zombie.

Zombies cannot shoot and cannot kill robots. Should you become zombie yourself your objective is to gather all zombie parts and put them on selected places on the map. They are marked with operational tables.

This event pulls out team-based tactics as the other players have the objective to sustain their zombie-like pal alive until the time runs out. The best part is that the team efforts will grant all of the team members an epic green color otherwise purchasable in the shop and sparks.

Enjoy!

Thanks,

The Team of Guns and Robots

Sounds just like the Easter event which everyone hated, meaning this should also be lame, though stakes became higher, so who knows...

The event is devoid of any team tactics as zombies are VERY difficult to kill. Also, the event cannot be "completed" as I've seen it so far.

Seen all parts (arms, legs, body, head) brought together to no result at all.

It is always a draw. And it has been so in all three TDM I've seen today.

Hello Laceratu,

Seen all parts (arms, legs, body, head) brought together to no result at all.

You have to collect 100 zombie parts in order to complete the event. You can see the count in the main garage screen.

It is always a draw. And it has been so in all three TDM I've seen today.

This depends entirely on the players. Kill all opposing team players and there won't be a draw.

The problem is it's too hard to kill a zombie player. As a missile-cannon wielder I can do it if direct hits are landed. A quad-Fragunov has little problems with that too. But still the zombie is still ricidulously durable.

It has to be very durable because you can not shoot while you are a zombie. A good strategy would be to gang on the zombie with your teammates (not shooting him alone).

Taking a brake off the game for one week is a good option, return when these zombies are all wiped out and hopefully get some normal matches :)

Problem is you can't gang up on the zombie in a 2x2 game or in any other game played for a minute or so - you can, for instance, have a full team of limping or immobile bots.

You will get turned into a zombie until the event is over, quite obviously...

Hello,

Thank you all for the zombie event feedback. We agree that it was not the best idea to force someone to become zombie and also to add so much health points of that character. We will take our notes from that event and will work on improving your gaming experience in all future events.

Thank you for your comments.

Yours,

The team of Guns and Robots
