In this first Dev Diary, we're taking a sneak peek at our robo beauty queen – Annie. When we first started making concept of Annie we did not
want her to be just another robot in your inventory, but a very special girl.

DESIGNING A ROBOT

The motivation behind the birth of Annie is you, our players. We wanted to give you a female robot that possess all the visual aspects of a
woman` body and head.We took our references from the old-school classic Rossie from "The Jetson". It was a true inspiration for us in the
process of making Annie. We were amazed by Rossie`s curvy chassis which perfectly represents the feminine nature of the robot.

ROBOT FACTORY LOGS

As Annie is a main character in GUNS and ROBOTS she needs to be a tough girl. Her body is made from a composition metal that is able to resist
some of the weapons. She is a representative of the light class robots with fine-tuned elegance. Her body has 2 available slots for hands and
batteries. That makes her a lethal girl. She is a nice addition to the team battles with her initial high durability leading to high power-to-weight
ratio and speed. She is elegant killing machine, equipped with 2 battery slots that makes her perfect for shoot and scoot battle tactics or pincer
movement. While the fragile looks are only to mislead the opponent, Annie`s head can be attached to all other available bodies and chassis,
so be careful when you see her in the arena.

The head of Annie was the toughest part. She has to be given specific human traits. We wanted her to be able to change accessories
like a typical girl. That is the main reason she has different hairstyles and she is able to use all of the hats and accessories of the other robots.
She actually looks cute in the military helmet and all other hats that fit her perfectly. Besides the hairstyle, Annie was designed to be lively and
to match with the overall cartoon style visuals of the game. We gave her a beautiful hair from cables, big pink spotlights for eyes, big metal
eyelashes and a tiny pug nose indented in her metal head.

It was challenging, but really amazing making her and in the future we plan to reveal more of her, as well as other female characters.

Before anyone here says that they also copied Annie's name... No.

LoL didn't invented the robotic girl fact... also, she doesn't look at all like Orianna, Orianna was extremely human-like because of her father's grief with his own daughter, this one wasn't constructed based in any human char, just a female robot.

Well, now, before anyone says they copied "Annie's name", lol no, they didn't invented that name either, it's actually a very common name on western U.S... else... most parents copied "Wendy" from peter pan?

Ooh Interesting indeed...

As main character what all will she do?

Be in the videos I assume and possibly be in some form of the tutorial? Battle training?

I am excited to say the least. This is some great art send my compliments to the chef who cooked this up.

And maybe add a smiley face too.
